Kanaami-Tsuji of Kyoto continues a centuries old tradition of intricate metal wire weaving to handcraft this unique tea strainer. Copper and stainless steel are weaved in authentic patterns to create a tool that perfectly balances form and function.

The ingenious design renders the basket suitable as a strainer for all types of leaf. It can be used as an infuser in a shallow cup and the internal stainless steel mesh means that it can also be used as a sift for matcha.
