Textured Teapot

Minimalist in design, this Teapot is designed and made in Hasami Japan using local iron rich sandstone mixed with porcelain. The high iron content reacts with the glaze, producing a lightly freckled satin finish juxtaposed with the natural, matt clay that humbly peeks out at the base of the vessel.

The handle of the teapot can be comfortably gripped and the spout has been especially designed to be drip free. The large strainer allows the leaves to fully unfurl and fully release their flavour.
